Solar Variable Frequency Drives for Pumps — Hybrid AC/DC Power
A Solar VFD is a specialized frequency converter that powers pump motors directly from photovoltaic panels (DC input) or from the electrical grid (AC input). The built-in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithm automatically finds the optimal operating point of solar panels to extract maximum energy throughout the day.
