Siemens S7-1200 PLC — programmable controllers for mid-range automation

The CPU 1211C is the entry point. CPU 1212C suits pump and HVAC systems. CPU 1214C with 14 DI / 10 DO handles mid-scale production. All CPUs support expansion modules, built-in PID and web server.
S7-1200 Expansion Modules
Signal modules SM 1221/1222/1223, signal boards SB, and communication modules CM 1241/1242/1243. CPU 1211C supports up to 3 SM, 1212C up to 5, 1214C up to 8.
TIA Portal Programming
Programmed in TIA Portal (V16+). IEC 61131-3 languages: LAD, FBD, STL, SCL. Built-in PROFINET, Motion Control via PTO/PWM. For Safety and OPC UA projects consider S7-1500.
