Description of Delta Electronics C200 Series
The Delta C200 series frequency converter is designed for controlling the rotation speed of asynchronous three-phase electric motors with a power rating of 0.75…7.5 kW featuring a squirrel-cage rotor. This device has the capability to solve complex tasks regarding speed, torque, and angular positioning control, performing the functions of a servomotor. The most advanced achievements in design and technology, developed by Delta Electronics, are harmoniously integrated into the C200 series products, which makes them leaders among frequency converters.
Nominal Power Ranges
- When powered by three-phase voltage of 220V: power range of 0.37 kW…2.2 kW;
- When powered by three-phase voltage of 380V: power range of 0.37 kW…7.5 kW.
Advantages and Features of C200 Converters
- Sensorless vector control (SVC) with a speed control range of 1:100.
- Vector control with feedback (FOC+PG) with a speed control range of 1:1000.
- Internal (up to 16 preset positions) and external angular positioning.
- Direct torque control through feedback (Torque+PG).
- Smooth pulse width modulation.
- Automatic parameter identification mode for two motors and load inertia.
- Special function for controlling the electromagnetic brake.
- Motor overheating protection (based on RTS thermistor).
- Built-in PID controller.
The system for pumping applications includes an automatic energy-saving function. Control is performed via a detachable control panel, and the indication takes place through a five-digit seven-segment LED display.
The advantages of the series include stabilization of output voltage during input voltage changes (AVR mode) and the capability for automatic restart under predetermined conditions with a smooth automatic return to the initial starting torque value, including additional slip compensation. The acceleration and deceleration curves can be adjusted at five points.
Main Areas of Application
- Lifting and transport equipment: conveyors, elevators, escalators, hoists, electric winches, cranes, etc.
- Machine tools: pressing, crimping, turning, drilling, grinding, and milling machines, comprehensive automated lines with CNC, etc.
- Equipment for the chemical and woodworking industries: mixers, separators, tension devices, extruders, vibrators, sandblasting machines, longitudinal lathes.
- Food industry: packaging and weighing machines, production lines for semi-finished products, mixers, etc.
The C200 converters can be used in manufacturing facilities with high requirements for speed control accuracy across a wide range of adjustment.
