3 kW hybrid inverter: for a cottage, garage, or small apartment
The 3 kW size is what cottagers and small-apartment owners buy from us most often. A typical customer this year: a retiree with a country house who needs to ride out a daytime blackout without losing the freezer contents, or a developer in a one-bed flat who doesn't want to spend an outage without a router, a laptop, and a kettle. For a larger home with AC and a borehole pump, 3 kW won't cut it (the AC compressor draws a 4-5 kW startup spike) — for that we ship 5 kW or 6 kW instead.
What 3 kW handles. A fridge at 200 W, a freezer at 150 W, LED lights at 100-200 W, a TV at 100 W, router and modem at 30 W, a laptop on charge at 60 W, a kettle at 1500-2000 W. You don't run everything at once: when the kettle is on, the induction hob waits 3 minutes. A 1 kW well pump kicks off with a 2-3 kW spike — a 3 kW inverter will start it, but won't run it in parallel with the AC.
What we ship from the warehouse
From our sales this year, two models cover the 3 kW slot. First: Veichi VHS-3K-30-H — single-phase 220 V, high-voltage 85-450 V battery, MPPT 100-550 V for 6-8 panels at 500 W in series. 30 A charge current, a 5 kWh lithium battery fills in 3-4 hours of solar noon. IP65, mounts on a wall under a canopy without an extra cabinet. Second, with headroom for a water heater: Veichi VHS-3.6K-30-H, same build, 3.6 kW continuous.
What we ask before the order. First: which battery you plan to use, because 85-450 V is high-voltage and not the same as a 48 V system. Second: 3 kW is continuous power; the short-term peak is 6 kW for 5-10 seconds (from the datasheet), enough for pump starts. Third: panels, because MPPT 100-550 V wants at least 4 panels at 500 W in a series string, otherwise the start-up voltage won't be reached. Veichi warranty 24 months, delivery from our Kyiv warehouse in 1-3 days. Datasheet available before payment.
