FR-F746-00310-EC is a Mitsubishi Electric FR-F variable frequency drive rated at 15 kW (3-phase 380 V input, 3-phase 380 V output). We use it for a booster pump, fan, or small compressor when the project needs Mitsubishi hardware, clear diagnostics, and 110-130% overload headroom.

When FR-F is not the right drive

We do not recommend FR-F for positioning or heavy constant-torque work where FR-A is the better fit. In those cases INVT or Veichi is often enough, and pump projects should also start from VFDs for pumps.

Our field note

Customers rarely buy Mitsubishi by accident. It is usually a FREQROL replacement, a cabinet with MELSEC/GOT, or a production line where downtime costs more than the price difference. Before payment we ask for a motor nameplate photo and a cabinet diagram. Fewer surprises at startup.
