FR-F740-01800-EC is a Mitsubishi Electric FR-F variable frequency drive rated at 90 kW (3-phase 380 V input, 3-phase 380 V output). We use it for a pump station, large ventilation unit, or compressor when the project needs Mitsubishi hardware, clear diagnostics, and 110-130% overload headroom.

Mitsubishi Electric FR-F: what this series is

FR-F is a series for pumps, fans, compressors and HVAC. Power range in this selection is 0.75–315 kW, supply 3×380 V. Mitsubishi is chosen where service life, clear diagnostics and compatibility with Mitsubishi Electric automation matter.

When to choose FR-F

• Typical machines: pumping stations, ventilation and smoke extraction.
• Selection: we check motor power and current first, then load type, cable length and control method.
• Service note: for older cabinets, replacement without reworking terminals and parameters is often what matters.

When FR-F is not the right fit

We do not recommend FR-F for positioning or heavy constant torque, where FR-A is needed. For such jobs INVT or Veichi are often enough, and for pumps also see pump inverters.
