VH100-0808TP is an ultra-thin VH100-series PLC: 8 digital inputs and 8 PNP-type transistor outputs, a fixed configuration with no expansion modules. PNP outputs supply the positive side to the load (common negative), which is the more familiar option for European wiring and PNP sensors. It handles simple discrete logic on a single monoblock for minimal money.

Typical applications:

• A small machine tool or node with PNP sensors: buttons, limit switches, valves on 8 inputs.
• Driving solenoids and indicators through transistor outputs that switch often.
• Replacing relay-contact logic in a small cabinet built to the PNP standard.

Note: as with the NPN version, transistor outputs are rated for DC and do not switch AC directly — AC coils need an interposing relay. If your project uses NPN logic (common positive), take VH100-0808TN — the same controller with NPN outputs.

Veichi VH100 — ultra-thin budget PLC for simple machines

VH100 is the most affordable controller in the VH line. We reach for it where you need to control a single node cheaply and reliably by clear logic: a small machine tool, a dispenser, a conveyor, pneumatics. The configuration is fixed — 8 digital inputs and 8 transistor outputs, and the ultra-thin housing saves room on the DIN rail. This is a programmable logic controller for a narrow scenario, nothing extra.

The main reason to buy VH100 is price for the function. Expansion here is minimal and there are no analog channels, so the series is built exactly for simple discrete logic of buttons, limit switches and valves. If the machine will not grow in I/O, VH100 closes the task on a minimal budget.

What tasks VH100 fits

• Small machine tools and nodes: button, limit-switch and relay logic on 8 inputs plus 8 transistor outputs.
• Pneumatics and valves: driving solenoids and electric valves in a timed sequence.
• Simple conveyors and dispensers: start-stop, interlocks, batch counting via the high-speed counters.
• Replacing relay-contact logic: a cheap way to swap a pile of interposing relays for one controller.

How VH100 differs from the higher VH series

In practice VH100 is the entry level of the VH line: it takes a fixed I/O set and does its job for the least money. Simple pulse tasks it handles on its own — 3 PTO channels at 100 kHz plus 8 high-speed counters. As soon as you need analog, more points or coordinated multi-axis motion, that is already VH300 territory.

When VH100 is NOT the right fit

• You need more I/O or expansion modules — take the modular VH300.
• You need coordinated multi-axis motion — linear or circular interpolation of two axes — that is already VH300 (interpolation plus 8 PTO/PTI channels versus 3 on VH100) and up.
• You need analog signals 0–10 V / 4–20 mA — VH100 has none, look at series with analog channels in the Veichi PLC catalog.
• You work inside another brand's ecosystem — compare with Delta or Fatek.

Our experience with VH100

People buy VH100 for one specific simple machine where the budget is counted to the penny. The typical buyer question is whether 8 inputs and 8 outputs will be enough: if the logic is already known and the machine will not grow, then yes. I usually suggest sizing in some headroom — if there is a chance you will add sensors or axes, it is better to plan a modular VH300 and not rebuild the cabinet.
