Veichi SS70 Soft Starters — Reliable Heavy-Duty Motor Control

The Veichi SS70 intelligent soft starter series is designed for three-phase induction motors from 15 to 630 kW. It provides effective starting current reduction, smooth acceleration, and deceleration. The rugged design is specifically optimized for harsh industrial environments, ensuring maximum reliability. An integrated bypass contactor significantly reduces heat dissipation and energy loss once the motor reaches full operating speed, enabling a compact footprint and simple cabinet layout.

Typical Applications for Veichi SS70

• Water Pumping Stations: Smooth starting and soft stopping eliminate water hammer in pipelines, protecting valves, seals, and extending piping life.
• Industrial Fans and Blowers: Provides controlled acceleration for high-inertia impellers, reducing mechanical stress on belts, pulleys, and bearings.
• Air Compressors: Current-limited startup reduces peak power demands on the facility grid during highly loaded system starts.

What Differentiates Veichi SS70 from Competitors

Unlike two-phase controlled competitors, the SS70 features fully symmetrical three-phase thyristor control during starting, eliminating DC offset currents and minimizing motor heating under heavy loads.

When Veichi SS70 is NOT Suitable

• For applications requiring dynamic speed control during normal operation — choose VFD Veichi AC310 instead.
• For severe environments with extremely high start/stop cycle frequency — consider heavy-duty industrial soft starters like the Schneider ATS48 range.
