Our catalog currently has 16 active items in this series: 0.7-75 kW, supply variants 3-phase 380 V, IP21 enclosures, EMC filter: yes. Schneider Electric is not the cheapest route. The usual reason is simpler: Altivar diagnostics, SoMove, documentation, and a predictable cabinet startup.

When Altivar 930 is not the right drive

We do not recommend Altivar 930 for a regular pump or fan where ATV630/650 is the more logical choice. In those jobs, another Schneider Electric series may be more logical, or INVT / Veichi may be enough when the project does not specifically require Altivar.

Schneider Electric is usually chosen for sites with BMS, SCADA, or an older Altivar already in the cabinet. Predictability matters there. Before ordering we ask for a motor nameplate photo and a short mechanism description. That filters out 220/380 V, IP, and braking mistakes early.
