PMC-24V600W1BA is a powerful 600 W enclosed Delta power supply with a regulated 24 V output and up to 25 A rated current. It is the heavy-duty model of the PMC series for nodes that need 24 V with a large current reserve. The universal single-phase 85–264 V AC input powers it from ordinary 230 V mains, and the IP20 metal case with screw terminals mounts on a machine panel next to drives and terminal blocks.

Delta PMC — enclosed panel-mount power supplies for machines and control cabinets

PMC is Delta Electronics' line of switch-mode power supplies in an enclosed (panel-mount) housing, designed to be fitted onto a panel or inside a machine rather than clipped onto a DIN rail. The series is built for embedding into equipment: a compact metal case, screw terminals and a single regulated output voltage. It is the classic workhorse supply for machine builders, panel assemblers and telecom integrators who need a simple, predictable DC source for a specific subsystem.

The series has seven models across three output rails — 12 V, 24 V and 48 V — and a power range from 35 W to 600 W. On 12 V there are 50 W (4.17 A), 60 W (5 A) and 150 W (12.5 A) units; on 24 V — 35 W (1.46 A), 50 W (2.08 A) and a heavy-duty 600 W (25 A); on 48 V — 600 W (12.5 A). This spread covers both light logic loads of a couple of watts and several-hundred-watt power feeds for drives and heating from a single family.

All models share a universal single-phase input of 85–264 V AC, so the same unit runs on 110 V and 230 V without any range switching — convenient for export machinery and unstable grids. The output is single and regulated; each model delivers only its own rated voltage (12, 24 or 48 V).

The enclosed housing makes PMC convenient precisely for embedding: the unit is mounted on the machine's mounting plate next to the other components, fed from single-phase mains, and supplies a ready DC voltage. This is a different philosophy from Delta's DIN-rail families (DRL, DRM, DRP), which snap onto a rail inside a distribution cabinet.

How PMC differs from Delta's DIN-rail series

Our take is simple: if you are building a machine and the power supply will sit on its panel next to the drives and terminal blocks — pick a PMC for the voltage and current you need. If instead you are assembling a classic automation cabinet with a DIN rail, the rail-mount DRL/DRM/DRP make more sense. The voltage guideline is the usual one: 24 V is the universal automation standard, 12 V suits lighting and some telecom nodes, and 48 V fits communications and higher-power peripherals.

What to check when selecting

• The housing is rated IP20 — the unit is intended to operate inside a cabinet or the machine's enclosed case, not in an open wet or dusty environment.
• Each model is a fixed output voltage and rated current; size with current headroom (for a 24 V load of 20 A, for example, choose the 600 W / 25 A model rather than the 50 W one).
• The input is single-phase across the whole series; three-phase supply is not offered here — for a three-phase mains look at the relevant Delta rail-mount versions.
