ACS150-01E-06A7-2 is an ABB ACS150 rated 1.1 kW, single-phase 220 V input (1-ph), three-phase 220 V output, 6.7 A. A sought-after single-phase model — a 1.1 kW three-phase motor from a single-phase 220 V mains.

Typical applications:

• A borehole or irrigation pump at a house/farm without 380 V
• A basement or greenhouse fan
• A woodworking or hobby machine in a workshop

Note: a single-phase input at 1.1 kW draws a noticeable line current — check your breaker and wiring. EMC filter, brake chopper and PID are built in. No Modbus.

ABB ACS150 — component drive for simple speed-control tasks

The ACS150 is the entry tier of ABB's older drive lineup. Scalar V/Hz control, a 0.37–4 kW range, and setup in a few minutes from a built-in panel with a potentiometer. It is a drive for OEM machines and simple jobs: mixers, conveyors, fans, booster pumps, gates. The series is discontinued — ABB's direct successor is the ACS180. If you still run a working ACS150 and need a like-for-like but cheaper replacement, we usually fit a Veichi AC10 or AC01.

What the ACS150 is good for

• Fans and booster pumps 0.37–2.2 kW: the built-in PID holds pressure or flow without a separate PLC.
• Conveyors and mixers up to 4 kW: the built-in brake chopper gives fast braking of an inertial mechanism — the resistor connects directly.
• Single-phase 1-ph/220 V supply: the 01E models take a single-phase mains and output three-phase 220 V to the motor — handy where there is no three-phase feed.
• Serial OEM machines: FlashDrop copies parameters between drives with no power applied — configuring a batch of identical machines in seconds.

How the ACS150 differs from modern equivalents

Honestly: in features the ACS150 is a simple V/Hz drive with no fieldbus. If you want the same simple logic but a new drive with a warranty and Modbus, take the AC10. If you need vector control and a wider power range, take the AC310.

When the ACS150 is NOT the right choice

• You need SCADA supervision — the ACS150 has no embedded Modbus; see the Veichi AC310 with built-in Modbus RTU.
• High breakaway torque or precise torque at low speed — you need a vector drive such as the Veichi AC01.
• Dusty or damp environment — the ACS150 is rated IP20 and goes inside a cabinet only; otherwise look at an enclosed IP54+ drive.
