LRS-350-24 is a Mean Well LRS-350 series 350W switching power supply with a single 24VDC output rated up to 14.6A (≈350.4W at full load). LRS is Mean Well's go-to workhorse series of industrial power supplies in a closed metal (enclosed) case. The job is simple: convert single-phase mains into a stable DC rail and power your automation, sensors and LED loads at the lowest possible cost and footprint. The series spans 50 to 350 W and output voltages of 12, 24, 36 and 48 V DC. It is the most widely used fanless power supply on the market — most LRS models cool by natural convection, with no moving parts, so they run quietly and last for years.

Every model has a single-phase 220V input. The smaller units (LRS-50, LRS-75, LRS-100) accept a universal 85-264VAC input, meaning the unit works equally well from a sagging or an over-voltage mains with no switching needed. LRS-150 has a switch-selectable input (a 115/230V toggle) between 85-132V and 170-264V. The larger LRS-200 and LRS-350, in turn, use an input range switch between 90-132V and 180-264V, which lets you squeeze higher output from a specific grid. Series efficiency runs from 85% (LRS-350-12) on the smaller and high-power models up to 91% on the 48V units, so the case barely warms even at full load.

Protections and operating conditions

LRS carries the full set of basic protections: short-circuit, overload, output over-voltage and over-temperature. The operating temperature range runs from -30°C (from -25°C on the larger LRS-200 and LRS-350) up to +70°C, so the unit works reliably in an unheated cabinet in winter and a hot enclosure in summer. The case is rated IP20 — meaning installation inside an electrical cabinet or closed panel, away from direct contact with dust and moisture. There is no power factor correction (PFC) in the series — a deliberate economy that keeps LRS cheaper than active supplies of the same class.

How LRS differs from other Mean Well series

LRS comes in an enclosed case for panel or chassis mounting, whereas the HDR, MDR, NDR and DR series clip onto a DIN rail directly inside an automation cabinet. Unlike the active higher-rated NDR and MDR units, LRS has no power factor correction, so for projects with strict input-current quality requirements you should look toward the DIN-rail series with PFC. But when the task is simply to deliver 12/24/48V to automation, sensors or LEDs in an existing cabinet cheaply and reliably, LRS remains the classic, proven choice.
