Schneider Altivar 310, 320, 610: a French standard for machine tools and packaging lines
Customers buy Schneider from us mostly to replace legacy ATV31/ATV61 units on equipment that is already running. Top movers over the past 12 months: ATV310HD11N4E at 11 kW (6 units), ATV320U15N4C at 1.5 kW (3), ATV320U07M2B single-phase 220 V at 0.75 kW (3), ATV610D30N4 at 30 kW (3). It is a predictable brand, no surprises. Price runs 30-50% above Chinese and Japanese drives, but on tenders it is often written directly into the spec.
11 series in the catalogue, but only three are real movers: Altivar 310 (entry, up to 11 kW. Simple. Cheap), Altivar 320 (built-in STO for machine safety), Altivar 610 (industrial up to 160 kW). One special variant: Altivar 320 Solar with MPPT for direct PV-panel input without batteries. Customers take it for farm irrigation systems. One caveat: ATV12, ATV31, and ATV61 are end-of-life.
