  • The motor rotor does not rotate. This is one of the main situations related to frequency converters. A possible cause is excessive or insufficient voltage at the inverter’s output or input. Regular monitoring of the device’s operation can help prevent such situations.
  • The speed of the motor rotor is not adjustable. The cause may be an incorrectly defined frequency. Prevention is similar to the previous point.
  • Overheating of the electric motor. This can occur due to operation in a small, poorly ventilated room, when the cooling system cannot effectively dissipate heat.

In addition to monitoring load parameters, it is also important to perform basic preventive maintenance to prevent contamination of system components. Heavy contamination of components is one of the most common reasons for equipment failure. Regularly check the operation of the cooling fan, as its stoppage can lead to serious breakdowns in the system.
