Our Practical Experience:

During elevator commissioning projects, we found that eliminating carriage rollback at startup is entirely dependent on correct pre-torque calibration. In the CHV180, this can be configured either by wiring a weight sensor load cell directly to the analog inputs or by optimizing the built-in sensorless anti-rollback routine. It is critical to fine-tune the mechanical brake release delay in parameter group P8 down to millisecond accuracy to prevent brake lining wear and harsh initial shocks.
