AuCom CSXi soft starter: motor protection and bypass built in

The CSXi is a CSX with electronic motor protection and a bypass moved inside. Same current band, 18-200 A, 7.5-110 kW at 400 V. We stock 11 positions. Supply is 200-440 V. Against the base CSX at the same 110 A the price is UAH 65,780 versus UAH 47,900, and what you pay for is the protection inside the housing.

We pick the CSXi when there is no panel space for a separate protection block, or when the unit goes onto a critical machine and overload monitoring has to live in the starter itself. The built-in bypass matters too: after acceleration current passes around the thyristors, so the cabinet runs noticeably cooler. What we ask before quoting

Nameplate motor current, load type, starts per hour, cabinet temperature. That last one matters: above 40 °C derating applies and the unit needs margin. The CSXi bypass is built in, so the series handles frequent starts better than the base CSX. A line breaker and a line contactor for emergency disconnect are required either way.
