What we ask before you order Siemens

First: the job and the surrounding system. If Siemens PLCs and ProfiNet are already there, G120 is the default with no debate, because S7 integration takes us an hour. If it is just a motor-pump with no PLC at all, V20 is cheaper and simpler. Second: power and supply. Single-phase 220 V up to 3 kW – G110 or V20. Three-phase 380 V – the full V20/G120/MicroMaster lineup, just pick the load class (LO for pump-fan, HO for heavy starts with 150% overload).

Third: safety. STO (Safe Torque Off) is not in V20, only G120 from CU240 up. If the project needs SIL 2 / PL d per EN 62061, it has to be G120 with the safety module. We ship popular 1.5 / 3 / 5.5 / 11 / 22 kW from our Kyiv warehouse in 1 day. Other series come on factory order in 2-4 weeks. Siemens factory warranty is 12 months from commissioning, extension to 24 months is optional via service. We do series selection and start-up parameters free. How to Select a Siemens VFD
