The ready Mitsubishi MR-J4 servo kit is a matched pair of the MR-J4-700A amplifier and HG-SR702 servomotor, rated at 7 kW with a rated torque of 33.4 N·m at 2000 rpm. Control is via pulse/analog; the drive and motor are factory-compatible and tuned to work together.

Mitsubishi MELSERVO MR-J4 is a mature servo drive series that has set the industrial standard for precise motion for years. Every amplifier carries a 22-bit absolute encoder, delivering over 4 million pulses per revolution and letting the axis position precisely without a homing run after power-up. The series comes in two interface variants: -A (general-purpose pulse-train and analog command for any PLC or controller) and -B (SSCNET III/H optical network for tight integration with the Mitsubishi motion line).

MR-J4 amplifiers pair with motors from the HG-KR family (low-inertia, 3000 rpm — for dynamic, fast cycles) and HG-SR family (medium-inertia, 2000 rpm — for higher torque and heavier loads). The 0.1–7 kW power range covers the 200V class (1-ph/3-ph 220V) and 400V class (3-ph 380V), flanges 40–176 mm, with or without a holding brake. Built-in auto-tuning and vibration suppression simplify commissioning.
