Veichi -- LiFePO4 batteries for solar energy and backup power
Veichi is a Chinese manufacturer of industrial equipment producing lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries for energy storage systems. Veichi batteries are built on LiFePO4 chemistry, delivering a long cycle life, stable power output, and a high level of safety compared to other lithium technologies. All models feature a nominal voltage of 51.2 V, making them compatible with most 48 V hybrid inverters on the market.
Veichi battery lineup
The current Veichi lineup includes three models with 5 and 10 kWh capacity:

The VCLB-5K-D01 and VCLB-5K-W01 share the same 5.12 kWh capacity but differ in form factor: the D01 is slimmer in depth (130 mm vs 141.5 mm), while the W01 is narrower in width. For larger projects, the VCLB-10K-W01 offers double the capacity at 10.24 kWh.
How to choose a Veichi battery
Consider the following parameters when selecting a Veichi battery:
- Required capacity -- for an average household, 5 kWh is sufficient for backup power of essential loads; for full off-grid autonomy or a solar power system rated 5 kW and above, choose the 10 kWh model or combine multiple 5 kWh modules.
- Inverter compatibility -- all Veichi batteries operate at 51.2 V (48 V nominal), compatible with Veichi hybrid inverters as well as third-party inverters supporting the 48 V battery bus.
- Mounting dimensions -- compare the model dimensions with the available installation space.
- Charge current -- the 5 kWh models support charging up to 50 A, while the 10 kWh model supports up to 100 A, enabling a full charge in approximately 2 hours.
