How to Choose an ABB Electric Motor
Selecting the right ABB motor depends on several key parameters: drive power, synchronous speed (750, 1000, 1500 or 3000 RPM), rated current and efficiency. For pumping stations and ventilation systems, 1500 RPM (4-pole) motors are typically chosen, while grinders and compressors require 3000 RPM (2-pole) units. For slow-speed mechanisms, 1000 and 750 RPM models are suitable.
