- Material type — for bulk solids (cement, sand, grain), microwave sensors from DF and MWF series are optimal; for powders and granules, use VF vibrating fork sensors.
- Measurement method — the DF series provides barrier measurement (transmitter + receiver), while MWF offers non-contact measurement through the vessel wall.
- Operating conditions — for aggressive environments and high temperatures, choose MWF or DF27 series models with extended protection.
- Mounting requirements — different configurations (codes A, B, C, G in the SKU) determine the mounting type and connection method.
