Lenze

History of Lenze Company

The Lenze company has more than half a century of history. Its founder, German Hans Lenze, started his production with belt pulley variators known under the brand name Simplabelt. Spare parts and complete Simplabelt variators, supplied since 1947, are still available for order today. Today, Lenze is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of drive technology.

Products of Lenze Company

Lenze specializes in the production of only high-quality drive technology, not expanding its range with household or industrial electrical engineering.

Main Production Directions

The main products manufactured by the company include:

  • reducers;
  • motor-reducers;
  • motor-variators;
  • direct current and alternating current motors;
  • servo motors (including high-quality synchronous and asynchronous motors with feedback sensors);
  • frequency converters.

Advantages of Lenze Products

The main advantages of technical solutions are:

  • Synchronous servo motors, which provide the lowest pulsation of torque due to the unique stator production process;
  • Motor-reducers suitable for various applications, with backlash of less than 7 angular minutes, confirming their high quality and long service life;
  • Wide range of frequency converters, from budget to developed solutions:
    • inexpensive converter series ESMD (0.25-22 kW) for pumps and fans;
    • frequency converter with vector control for unstable loads, with a built-in controller for tasks such as managing a pumping station - series 8200vector (0.25-90 kW);
    • series 9300 (0.37-500 kW) - frequency converter that performs the functions of high-precision servo drives, equipped with a built-in PLC supporting standard IEC programming languages or ready libraries for industrial tasks such as winding, positioning, and axis interpolation. The built-in PLC in the series 9300 increases the accuracy and speed of technological tasks execution by eliminating the need for an external controller.
