VFD accessories: what actually needs to be added to a drive order
A frequency inverter is often not ordered alone. We may add a braking resistor, remote keypad, I/O board, EMC filter or cable right away. Not as a random add-on. Only when the load profile and the drive series require it.
The main search demand in this category is braking resistors. Our sales data says the same: customers rarely search for “options”, they ask for a resistor for a VFD. The second active block is Veichi and Delta keypads for moving control to the cabinet door.
How to choose a VFD accessory
Start with the job. If the drive stops an inertial load often, check braking resistors. If the operator must control the drive from a panel door, use a keypad. If the base terminals are not enough or the drive must talk to a controller, choose an expansion board or interface module.

Sales data keeps the focus on Veichi / Delta Electronics / selected Schneider Electric accessories. Veichi is mostly keypads and boards for AC300/AC310. Delta covers KPE keypads and BR braking resistors. Schneider in this category is mostly service cables and converters for Zelio.
Bosch Rexroth accessories are also in the catalog for replacement jobs on existing drives. But if the brand is not fixed by the project, we do not start with the logo. First we ask for the drive series and motor power. Then we check the stop profile and what is already installed in the cabinet.

For a keypad or board, the drive series matters most. We ship across Ukraine and say directly when an accessory will not fit your VFD. That is cheaper than rebuilding the cabinet after installation.
