HMI operator panels for control cabinets
An HMI is used when the operator needs to see the machine state without opening a laptop. Alarms and setpoints stay on the cabinet door. Counters, recipes, event logs or a simple process mimic can live there too. In our catalog this category often goes together with PLCs and VFDs; sometimes the screen is added to a servo cabinet. The boundary is simple: the panel does not replace the controller, it gives the operator a usable interface to the automation system.
The catalog currently has 248 active HMI models from 8 brands. Screen sizes start from compact 2.5-3.8" units and go up to 15.6". For a pump cabinet or a small machine, 4.3-7" is usually enough. For a production line with trends and alarm logs, we normally check 10.1" or larger models because the project usually has several screens. One practical point: protocol compatibility comes before the logo on the front.
How to choose an HMI operator panel
We start with screen size and protocol. Then we check the panel cutout, so the cabinet door does not need to be machined twice. If the panel talks to one VFD over RS-485, there is no reason to pay for a large screen. If the cabinet has several controllers and Ethernet access is required, choose a model with Modbus TCP/IP or the right vendor driver from the start.
| Model | Screen | Communication | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kinco MT4512TE | 10.1", 800x480 | RS232/RS422/RS485, Ethernet, Modbus TCP/IP | PLC cabinet, several screens, trends or alarm log. |
| Delta TP04G-AS1 | 3", text panel | RS232, Modbus | Simple machine where parameters matter more than graphics. |
| Shihlin EC210CT11 | 10.2", 800x480 | RS232/RS422/RS485, Ethernet, Modbus TCP/IP | Old panel replacement or local screen for a production cell. |
| Veichi VI20-070S-FE | 7", 1024x600 | RS232/485/422, 2xRS485, Modbus RTU/TCP | Pairing with Veichi VFDs, pump stations and compact control cabinets. |
| Weintek MT8071iP | 7", 800x480 | Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485 | Retrofit jobs with mixed controllers and a familiar HMI platform. |
HMI operator panel manufacturers
Based on recent orders, we most often see Kinco, Delta, Shihlin, Mitsubishi Electric and Veichi. Kinco is chosen for price and many drivers. Delta is a clean fit when the project already uses Delta PLCs or servo drives. Veichi VI20/VI30 works well in cabinets with Veichi VFDs. For older Magelis replacements we check Schneider Electric; for IIoT and mixed networks, Weintek is often useful.
HMI panels by specification
If door space is tight, check 4.3" or 5.7" panels. For most automation cabinets the middle range is easier to use: 10.1" or 10.4", especially when the operator needs trends and alarms without zooming. Series filters help narrow the list quickly: Veichi VI20, Veichi VI30, Kinco MT4x00, Kinco MT5x20 and Delta DOPB.
Warranty and support
Before shipment we check 24 V supply and the required port. Protocol and mounting cutout are checked separately. If you have the old part number, a nameplate photo or the project file, send it to the manager: it makes replacement much faster and helps avoid cabinet-door rework. We ship across Ukraine, support bank transfer for companies, and can check compatibility with your PLC, VFD or servo system before the order is placed.
