Automated Control Systems for Technological Processes (ASU TP)

For professionals, it is clear that ASU TP represents an automated control system that integrates technical, software, and other means that ensure effective management of units at various enterprises. These systems are used for managing production operations; however, it is important to note that management processes in them are not autonomous and require human involvement. The operator must monitor their operation, which emphasizes the need for human participation in these processes.

Preparatory Work with ASU TP Test Systems

During the preparatory phase, the following activities are carried out:

  • Verification of installed units for compliance with documents.
  • Checking grounding circuits and insulation resistance of electrical wires.
  • Monitoring the connection of field units to ASU TP cabinets.
  • Monitoring the connection of signal wires to automation blocks.
  • Supplying electricity to ASU TP technical devices.
  • Cold start of ASU TP technical devices.
  • Installing system software.
  • Installing application software.
  • Loading software into controllers and operator stations.
  • Visual inspection of the system.
  • Elimination of identified problems.

Autonomous Testing of ASU TP Test Systems

During autonomous testing, the following activities are carried out:

  • Verification of the completeness of the supplied documentation for compliance with the technical assignment.
  • Checking the operability of peripheral units, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
  • Checking application software together with representatives of the Customer.
  • Verification of the interfaces of information transmission channels and interaction of algorithms and logical subsystems.
  • Checking the connection of field units together with representatives of the Customer.
  • Metrological certification of measurement channels RCU and PAZ.
  • Training of operational and maintenance personnel on-site to work with the system.
  • Elimination of identified problems.

Testing Work with ASU TP Test Systems

During testing work, the following activities are carried out:

  • Checking all subsystems of ASU TP together with the KVP devices. This includes checking control algorithms, blocking logic, influences on actuating devices, simulating input signals, and interaction with peripheral means.
  • Checks are carried out with regard to the design documentation and the approved program for complex testing of ASU TP test systems.
