CNC Grinding Machine
The CNC grinding machine consists of main components such as the base, wheel frame, spindle, and chuck. Frequency control technology is becoming increasingly popular in crushers and cylindrical grinders, which typically require only two speeds for the driving wheel. Variable speed drives, soft start, and constant output torque meet all technological process requirements.
Features of VFC & EFC 5610
- Compact and small design that saves space in the control cabinet.
- Removable terminals and external control panel for easy parameter setting.
- Starting torque of 100% at 15 Hz for VFC & EFC 3610.
- Starting torque of 200% at 0.5 Hz for VFC & EFC 5610.
- High precision control and fast dynamic characteristics.
- Quick response to surface irregularities to maintain stability and grinding quality.
- Intelligent multi-speed control with 16 adjustment levels.
- Improved printed circuit board coating providing enhanced corrosion resistance.
Main Wheel
For the main wheel in the grinding machine, a motor with a power of 15-22 kW is usually used, which provides stable output torque at various speeds. VFC and EFC frequency converters support multi-speed modes with ten or more speeds, providing operational flexibility without the need for an external controller.
Functional Requirements
- Analog input for speed setting, supporting constant torque.
Performance Requirements
- The main wheel drive must have high starting torque.
- The spindle drive must provide high accuracy and speed stability.
Competitive Advantages
- VFC & EFC offer step control of speed (16 speeds), which allows savings on PLC.
- Starting torque of 100% at 15 Hz for VFC & EFC 3610.
- Starting torque of 200% at 0.5 Hz for VFC & EFC 5610.
- Printed circuit boards coated with a special varnish from Germany, providing enhanced corrosion resistance.
